Inspired by a tradition started in 1941 by ski pioneer Ed Taylor and his wife Jo, the Alpine Sport Shop continues to be a destination for winter enthusiasts who live in the Northeast and beyond. A unique ski chalet-style building near Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York is home to our legendary ski shop. It was envisioned and built by Dorothy and Thurlow Woodcock, soon after they became the new owners in 1966. Since then, our family business keeps evolving with new technologies and fresh perspectives. We welcome the next generation of skiers, the lovers of snow sports, and the winter season.
